Horse Grazing
For current rates, please call or email Rosanne or Phil.
Yes, sometimes we do have a waiting list. It is best to call or message Rosanne for more information about vacancies.
We do. This does depend on how much space we currently have and the duration you need. Please contact us to discuss.
We do. We’ve had a few miniatures graze with us over the years. Some of our paddock fences are more suitable than others, depending on the wither size.
Yes. We have had several rescue horses graze with us over the years, and we welcome more.
The short answer is no. All horses are the sole responsibility of their owners, or arranged carer. If you need someone to feed your horse or do other care duties, many of our grazers are very willing to help out. You can reach out to them personally, or via our Facebook group.
All that being said, we keep a close eye on the horses and let owners know ASAP if they are injured or unwell, and assist during emergencies or when other options are not available.
You are permitted to bring well-behaved dogs onto the farm. They must be on-leash at all times, and pooper-scooping areas where people walk and drive is a must.
This is permitted, however they are subject to the Worksafe farm safety rules along with you. Visitors are not permitted to come onto the property without you, unless by prior arrangement (e.g., they will be feeding your horse(s) for you).
Children must be supervised at all times and their safety is your responsibility. The races are frequented by traffic, and this is a working farm so machinery and animals may be moving about at any time.
