Paddock Mulching, Topping & Section Knockdown
We can take care of paddock and section overgrowth for you, including regrowth gorse up to 50mm (1.2m high), kikuyu and more. Our machinery can leave an even layer of well mulched material on your paddock or section, and mows from 90mm down to 5mm. Our machines are particularly excellent on tough kikuyu.
We use a late model SAME Dorado 86 Tractor and Fieldmaster EURO GMM 270 ‘MULTI-CUT’ 2.7m wide, 2 rotor, Rotary Mulcher on skids. This is more efficient than drum mowers.

Liquid Fertiliser
We use Nitrosol Liquid Blood and Bone based fertiliser with trace elements and plant growth activators. This can be applied with suspended calcium carbonate and boosted nitrogen products as well as most selective herbicides.
This Oceanic fish-based product is safe on bovine and equine pastures, and is manufactured locally by Rural Research Limited in East Tamaki, NZ.
Typical application rates: 10 to 20 litres of product per hectare in 300 litres of water by broad nozzle sprayer behind the tractor.
There is no leaching, it can be applied all year round providing ground conditions are suitable, and there is no withholding period.
